Chicago Walkers Club offers its members a variety of race walking/fitness programs year
round that are geared to enhance overall fitness and develop/improve race walking
technique.  The primary program,
9AM Saturday Fitness Walk , is held every Saturday
morning - rain, snow or shine.  The
8AM Saturday Advanced Workout  is geared for
members wanting an additional workout in speed and endurance.  CWC also has other
Training programs for its members for endurance and speed.  What You Want to Know
intends to provide race walk-related information such as proper footwear and heart rate
monitoring.
